‘Russia Against Napoleon’ – No Cold, Like ICE COLD DEAD!

Marine Corps Commandant General Eric Smith discussed Force Readiness concluding, “There is no cold like Alaska cold.”  Sir, with all due respect, I disagree.

Psst, a little birdie told me better prepared battalions for the ICE COLD are in the American Highland, Ellsworth and New Schwabenland of Antarctica.

Concern for the Marine Corps: ‘China’s military are its encroachments on sovereign nations, especially Taiwan, and its construction and expansion of artificial islands in the Pacific Ocean.’

To hear the General speak, U.S. soldiers aren’t playing games but plugging away in their boots on ICY North American grounds. Yet, given culture of new generation and low recruit numbers, I don’t see it.

General Smith, you may know Venezuela from your being stationed there, but compare not training a battalion for the heat of the Middle East with the cold of Russia.

Alaska cannot compare to East Antarctic Plateau of record -93.2 C (-136 F).  

Of course, if you’re looking for coldest temperatures in which humans survive, here’s a glimpse from Poseidon Expeditions: “Snag (Canada) at -63 C (-81 F), Utqiagvik (USA/Alaska) at -49 C (-56 F) and Oymyakon (Russia) at -72 C (-97 F).” Not the Brits or Nords.

Still, it does make US and Germany look ‘prepared.’ By contrast, a weak NATO looks to ‘enhance intelligence.’ Surprised they’ve not contracted an AI start up.  

Yet, nothing ‘reportedly’ about attempt on US President.

World witnessed US Secret Service’s effort to shield a President as Military Snipers ‘took out’ the suspected gunman, after the fact.

If goal has been to “target defense industry executives,” one would think top security measures would not only have been put into place but heightened for the TOP EXECUTIVE.  

Americans, in commemoration of ardor for your guns, five words come to mind by Charlton Heston, former spokesperson for the National Rifle Association, “From my cold dead hands.”
