Along Climbed a Shrewd Spider Onto the Middle East Web ۞

We’re all going to die. Question is how. For some, their fate lies in the hands of others. SinWar, just as your life was in the hands of Dr. Yuval Bitton. Question is will your fate be sealed by the enemy or will death be by your own hand?

In my July 2023 paper, “ӪptkMentis1© Ӫperation e-LEVIATHAN” I point out:

Think like a spider, a “mind that isn’t fully confined within the head.”  → Have an eye on markings. “If you do not have those receptors, that part of the world simply doesn’t exist.”

In your mission, know the beast inside and out as its domain.  →‘Break the Machine’ – “We can break that machine; we can snap strands; we can reduce the way that animal is able to perceive the system around it.” Otherwise, mission will fail and you will have missed your target – game over.

But being small, there is no need to break a window. Question is what kind of spider will you be?

Palestine – Israel, nightmare comes full circle in October. In this War of Sin, evil and destruction found you both in this web of blood and deceit.

Israel, you are once again at a crossroads. As you decide on a Future path, overlook not your Past. A past meshed with suffering and resilience. Concede the fact that this same resilience nurtured among you a weed encircling an olive tree, strangling All who took shade.

“On Oct. 18, 2011, Dr. Bitton stood in the yard of Ketziot prison, watching as Mr. Sinwar boarded a bus to Gaza. Having witnessed the persuasive power of Mr. Sinwar’s leadership up close, Dr. Bitton said he had urged the negotiators not to free him. But he was overruled, he said, because Mr. Sinwar “didn’t have as much Jewish blood on his hands” as some of the others.”

Negotiators, does he have enough blood now? Yes, Dr. Bitton, “He told us what he was going to do.” Sadly, few listened.  

In the Mind and Language of the Enemy

Israel, there is nothing artificial in learning what the enemy is thinking. Intelligence or Blueprint ‘accidentally’ left behind?

No question, speaking the language of the adversary has long been a useful tool. Still, I need not ‘speak’ a spider’s language to understand its strategies and tactics. Stand guard and observe.

In my ventures through Persia’s looking glass, I found learning Farsi, though challenging, was its own sweet reward. We “believe speaking Farsi is a sweet treat to the tongue.” Yes, I’m still smiling.

Now, learning Arabic it’s quite natural. Yet, Prof. Mordechai Kedar notes “many Israelis don’t study Arabic.” Why? According him, ‘Israel represents the West.’

And what does the West represent to the World?  Uncertainty and Deception via ‘rules based’ laws of its own creation.

The late Rabbi Mark Golub noted “classical Arabic does not have the word compromise.” Prof. Kedar explained that “Language reflects culture. Compromise is a modern word… Allah does not compromise, negotiate, he commands you.” U.S., sounds oddly familiar to your ‘In God We Trust’ and ‘For God and Country.’

Prof. Kedar and Rabbi Golub, some may also question your observations on the word “compromise.” Dr. Taha Jabir al-Alwani and Dr. Imad al Din Khalil are the authors of “The Ethics of Disagreement in Islam,” prepared from the original Arabic by Abdul Wahid Hamid, The International Institute of Islamic Thought, Herndon, Virginia USA.

In Chapter Ten, “The Way Forward,” under the section Brotherhood and Solidarity, it is written:

“We have seen the deep respect and consideration which the early Muslims had for one another and their commitment to the unity and brotherhood of Muslims. No one should jump to the conclusion, however, that our keenness to preserve the brotherhood and solidarity of Muslims implies any negligence of the fundamental Islamic beliefs which are not open to any speculation or compromise. The determination to confront the enemies of the Ummah will prevent us from joining hands with those who do not have any affinity with Islam.”

Muslim Brotherhood appears to have different dimensions and causes. In a Foreign Affairs paper, “The Moderate Muslim Brotherhood,” Robert S. Leiken and Steven Brooke note that:

“…the Brotherhood’s failure to stress the religious dimension incenses the jihadists, who mock the Brotherhood (including Hamas) for conducting jihad “for the sake of territory” rather than for the sake of Allah. Compare the statement from the Brotherhood’s Yusuf al-Qaradawi, who argues that “the enmity between us and the Jews is for the sake of land only,” with this one from Zawahiri: “God, glory to him, made the religion the cause of enmity and the cause of our fight.”

Prof. Kedar also noted that in the Middle East they interpret the written word on three levels, “What you say, what you mean, and what you try to hide.” Kedar adds that “In America, what you say is what you mean…easy to be cheated when they come to Middle East.”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, do you mean what you say or are you hiding something?

In my November 1, 2019 paper, “Risk of being Open and Transparent with Old and New Enemies” I point out:

“Man’s certainty of brutality and intelligence, be they adorned with silk of the East or West, be they defended with the sword or arsenal, or be they honored with heads or medals, fight a losing battle.

The West attempted conquest of  the “certainty” of freedom and security by way of deception will attract more birds to swarm; only the nature of these birds are not that of doves and will bring their flock to your soil.

For “If one Prophet deceive another, what certainty is there of knowing the will of God, by other way than that of Reason?” And no amount of intelligence will help you deal with the brutal risks of uncertainty. It’s in your nature.”

Will and Brutal Force

Israel – Palestine, future was predicated by the Will of a past ‘Visionary of the State’ and by the Words of ‘Brutal Force’ of a Jerusalem Mayor.

Zionism, an idea so grand this Mayor of Jerusalem praised it with words ‘pure’ and ‘noble.’ A Mayor whose prescient words give credence to his foresight.   

Question is for whom did the vision and brutal force become a reality?

And will new Leadership be successfully “Superior at the Decisive Point’ as Helmuth von Moltke?

Theodor Herzl, voice of a ‘Visionary of the State’ calls out, “If you will it, it is no dream” in “The Old New Land”: 

“Do you think that an Arab who owns land or a house in Palestine worth three or four thousand francs will be very angry to see the price of his land rise… Moreover, that will necessarily happen with the arrival of the Jews… who will make this province flourish-this province which is their historic homeland. “ – Theodore Herzl to Yusuf Diya-uddin al-Khalidi dated 19 March 1899

Yusuf Diya al-Khalidi, voice of the Mayor of Jerusalem, man of letters, put pen to paper with ‘brutal force’:

“We must reckon with reality, with established facts, with force, yes with the brutal force of circumstances. But the reality is that Palestine is now an integral part of the Ottoman Empire and, what is more serious, it is inhabited by people other than only Israelites.This reality, these acquired facts, this brutal force of circumstances leave Zionism, geographically, no hope of realisation.”

Something is Rotten in the State of Israel

Shakespeare’s Hamlet is playing out its tragedy in the Middle East. Unleashed decayed democracy is emitting a foul political odor. Indeed, something is rotten in the State of Israel.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, you are not forgiven!

People of Israel call for a Leader who is “Superior at the Decisive Point’, NOW! A Leader prioritizing Human Life – Men, Women and Children!

As to Hamas, you say you’re ‘choking them’? Reality on the ground says otherwise – more dead hostages! A slow ‘death of a thousand cuts.’

Prime Minister, you may not have ‘blinked.’ But neither did your enemy. In fact, he ‘called your bluff.’ Stop ‘playing chicken’ with the Devil! It’s got nothing to lose.

Destroy the enemy, an idea reinforced in the minds of millions around the world? Ask your American Ally how idea of SinWar like ‘Santa Clause’ can be killed.

Voicing the words of a former Mayor of Jerusalem, Yusuf Diya al-Khalidi, you “must reckon with reality, with established facts, with force, yes with the brutal force of circumstances…reality is that Palestine is now…inhabited by people other than only Israelites.”

Victory? Only DARK VICTORY awaits you if you continue on this path.

People of Israel, hard to fathom the one place you called Home could turn to Hell. Truth be told, the Birth of one people’s Homeland, was Death to another’s land. Indeed, Hitler had the last laugh.    

Zionism. In the Times of Israel, Daniel Schwarz says it best: “Returning to the real message of Zionism is the greatest tribute we can pay to the six-million Jews murdered on the eve of the creation of the Jewish nation state. We mourn them. We commemorate what was done to them. We indict the world for its hatred of us and its cruelty to us. But most importantly, at the same time that we remember who they were and the unjust genocide, we ever abide and continue to thrive.”
