My question was inspired by Louis Nizer’s 1944 book, What to do with Germany, deliberating on a post-war Germany.
Nizer highlights how the ‘powers that be’ hid behind the veil of sovereignty. And how it was critical for external powers to force Germany’s disarmament, hold war criminals accountable and revamp their educational system.
I find Nizer’ logical lens and Brickner’s emotional lens have coalesced transcending time. Today’s ‘enemies’ of the Jewish people are not primarily inspired by a superiority complex of ‘pure’ blood, albeit there are pockets of those who hold ‘supremacy’ visions.
On the contrary, they are inspired to execute what they see as punishment fitting the crime. Crimes against humanity – war, famine, death, and disease. The long-time riding ‘Four Horsemen.’
Paradoxically, adversarial forces have assured their young learn well the blueprint of the ‘pure’ blooded.
Appears Golda’s remark of Arab mothers hating the Jews more than they love their children has turned on its head with Jewish mothers also doing the hating.
Ironically, Israeli offense forces which see themselves as the ‘chosen ones’, as did their ‘pure’ blooded predecessors are destined to be castigated for their extreme criminal offenses.
